Mission of this Blog

The mission of this weblog is to provide a genealogical resource for the descendants of the following pioneer families:

Schupfer: Immigrated from Grobming, Austria in 1870s. Three brothers, Matthias, Florian and Rupert. Matthas married Aloisia Knaus in Austria and she came to America in the 1880s. Descendants of the Schupfers now also have the surnames Eichner, Witt, Morris, and Huff.

Stephenson: Most of the Stephenson family continues to live north of the border in Canada. The family was from Didsbury, Alberta. They were farmers, for the most part. My grandmother Alberta moved to Idaho as a young child and was raised by an aunt and uncle in Kendrick, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Norris Walker. Walker was a blacksmith.

Schultz: My grandmother Alberta's mother's maiden name. The Schultzes were Germans who immigrated to Canada at an unspecified date. They were farmers.

  1. Hello! Your photos are wonderful treasures! I am curious about the date of the grade school photo from Kendrick, Idaho. Also, I know it's doubtful, but would you happen to know the names of the other children? Thanks you! Deb Nelson

  2. Deb, I'd say around 1914 or so. My grandma was born around 1908. I don't know the other names of the kids. Sorry. :( Rob
